Purpose-built for the Holden VL Commodore, the HVLCX fits straight into the factory ECU location using the factory mounts, original wiring loom and connectors. No rewiring, no adapter looms. It retains factory functionality, keeps a stock appearance and comes with a startup map to get you running quickly.

Designed for the Holden VL RB30ET engine.

Important: your factory ECU is needed to build this unit

The VL is a unique plug-and-play setup. The factory ECU connector is now obsolete, so Link builds each HVLCX by salvaging one of the smaller header plugs from your original ECU's circuit board. Because of this, the HVLCX is made to order with a short lead time.

How it works:

1. Place your order.
2. Send us your factory VL ECU. It can be from a non-turbo, auto or turbo model.
3. Send it either directly to Link HQ in Brisbane, or to our workshop in Carrara on the Gold Coast and we'll send it on to Link in Brisbane for you. Get in touch and we'll give you the address and arrange it.
4. Link removes the header plug and builds your new ECU around it.
5. You get back your brand new Link G4X HVLCX plug-in ECU, plus your original factory ECU (minus the header plug).

Other things to know:

• This ECU works for manual transmissions only.
• Includes an onboard MAP sensor.
• Most factory features are supported.
• 6 ignition outputs are available, allowing a direct spark conversion.
• This ECU will need a modification before E-Throttle is usable.

Other engines such as the RB30E, R31 Skyline, RB20E, L20E and L20ET may be supported. Check with us before purchasing.
